Partner Appreciation Week 2025: Strengthening Support for Future Nurses

Hillsborough Community College (HCC) Nursing partnered with Knack in Spring 2023 to provide access to peer tutoring to all students in key nursing courses. HCC Nursing peer tutors have an average of 28 sessions per tutor, demonstrating students' need for support in their courses.

LSU Health New Orleans' School of Nursing launched their partnership with Knack in Spring 2023 to provide access to free peer tutoring for all students in all courses. The program's average tutor rating is an impressive 4.98 out of 5 stars--a testament to the hard work and dedication of their peer tutors.

Sachira D., a student at the University of South Florida College of Nursing, shared her experience using Knack: “When I started my nursing degree and began using Knack for nursing, it helped me understand the concepts better. I finally understood the material I struggled with in class." Tiffany J. shared what she has gained from Knack as a peer tutor: "Not only is it a rewarding leadership opportunity that looks amazing on your resume, but you also get to interact with your fellow students. It’s going to make you a better person, a better employee, a better leader."

Valencia College Nursing partnered with Knack beginning Fall 2024 to scale support to all students in all courses. The average tutor rating at Valencia College Nursing is an impressive 5 out of 5 stars--a testament to the hard work and dedication of the program's peer tutors.
