Partner Appreciation Week 2025: Expanding Access to Support for Every Student
By: Maggie McGinty Scheyer on Feb 13, 2025 9:00:00 AM

At Knack, we’re proud to partner with institutions that are committed to making academic support equitable and accessible for all students. Across the country, we’ve worked with colleges and universities eager to provide tailored peer learning opportunities for key student populations, including first-generation students, adult learners, student-athletes, and more. These partnerships ensure that every learner—regardless of background or circumstance—has the resources they need to succeed.
Below, we’re excited to highlight how a few of our partner institutions are using Knack to create inclusive and impactful support systems for their students.
Auburn University has been a Knack partner since Fall 2021. Here is what Isabel Z., a peer tutor at Auburn, had to say about her experience: “My most valuable tutoring experience with Knack has been getting to see the same student every week and really building a relationship with them over the course of the semester. It's awesome to get to look forward to your meetings and get to know them.”
California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is one of Knack's most recent partnerships, launched in Spring 2025. CSUSB students have completed over 45 sessions within just the first few weeks of the partnership.
Hillsborough Community College (HCC) Nursing's partnership with Knack supports all students in select challenging nursing courses. 80% of HCC Nursing students said they have noticed a better understanding of course material since engaging in tutoring sessions on Knack.
FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is one of Knack's more unique partnerships as the College is a combination of students from Florida A&M University and Florida State University. The program allows students to connect with their peers from either school to maximize their access to support.
