April 9-15, 2023 is National Student Employment Week! To celebrate, we asked some of our tutors to share their experiences using Knack. Here's what they had to say:

Delong is a senior at USF, majoring in Accounting. He's a part of the USF Figure Skating Club and has been a tutor on Knack for 1 year and 4 months.

Q: What is your most valuable tutoring experience with Knack?
A: When I tutored someone and she got an A on her test—she was so happy.

Q: How has Knack benefited your college experience?
A: Knack has helped me enrich my studying experience.

Isabel Zecher

Auburn University

Isabel is a junior at Auburn, majoring in Accounting. Her fun fact is that she is ambidextrous. Isabel has been tutoring on Knack for one year.

Q: What is your most valuable tutoring experience with Knack?
A: My most valuable tutoring experience with Knack has been getting to see the same student every week and really building a relationship with them over the course of the semester. It's awesome to get to look forward to your meetings and get to know them.

Q: How has Knack benefited your college experience?
A: For me, it's made my work as a tutor much easier and more flexible. It lets me and the students I meet with work around our busy college schedules to get together.

 

Anthony Canova

Rutgers University

Anthony is a graduate student at Rutgers, studying Accounting. In 2012, he won a prestigious dodgeball championship. Anthony has been a tutor on Knack for 2 and a half years.

Q: What is your most valuable tutoring experience with Knack?
A: Definitely experiencing different learning styles. I believe this will be one of my greatest strengths in the professional world when the time comes to be a manager and helping teams with projects.

Q: How has Knack benefited your college experience?
A: It’s made my college experience so much fun. I've always wanted to tutor students, so it’s just been a blast helping whoever I can.

 

Jackson Dixon

Fordham University

Jackson is a sophomore at Fordham, majoring in Business Administration with a primary focus in Information Systems. His fun fact is that he has lived in 9 states. Jackson has been tutoring on Knack for about 2 months.

Q: What is your most valuable tutoring experience with Knack?
A: One of the most valuable experiences I have gained through tutoring with Knack is the incredible sense of fulfillment that comes with helping a peer achieve their academic goals.

Q: How has Knack benefited your college experience?
A: 
Knack has been an invaluable platform that has allowed me to not only develop my tutoring skills, but also to gain confidence in my ability to help others.

 

Isabela Schroeter

University of Akron

Isabela is a sophomore at Akron, majoring in Business Administration. Her fun fact is that she has broken both arms at the same time. Isabela has been a tutor on Knack for almost 2 years.

Q: What is your most valuable tutoring experience with Knack?
A: 
Getting to work with students of all backgrounds. I've learned so much from interacting with others and the importance of kindness and compassion! I love being able to help someone and see how they feel after accomplishing something.

Q: How has Knack benefited your college experience?
A: 
Knack has helped me improve my understanding of the classes and my knowledge of the topic— I feel as if I've learned so much more than when I took the class myself! This has helped me in my major so much!
